The Blue Confusion is the fusing together of three powerhouses of the regional music scene. Todd Mihan – Nik Rael – Jorge Pertuz, each with their own strong following, especially among those in the know, have decided to combine their talents.

Lead vocalist and bassist Nik Rael narrowly escaped death in Bermuda on Christmas Eve 2016. He has recorded 3 solo albums, with noted Producer John Platania, and has shared the stage with Robert Cray, Chris Isaac, Pete Seeger, Pat Benatar and Blue Oyster Cult to name a few.

Todd Mihan is a master guitarist. He’s an accomplished singer/songwriter having recently released his third CD “Compass.” Many of Blue Confusions songs are Nik & Todd co-writes. Todd is often asked to do guest spots on tours that pass through the Valley. Todd’s ‘Thursday Morning Jams’ have become a very popular online staple.

Jorge comes to the Confusion via Macy Gray & Hernan Romero. A Rock drummer to the core, he drives the band. He is obsessed with wanting to buy every drum kit he sees. An anomaly among drummer’s, Jorge tends to be the quiet one of the group.
